Cool, calm, collected Saïx is second-in-command of Organization XIII, the main antagonistic force of the 2005 video game Kingdom Hearts II. The goal is simple: the completion of Kingdom Hearts and the return of their hearts. And Saïx really wants his heart back.

Out of the entire Organization, he's the one that really took the whole "no emotions" thing to heart. You would think this would make it awkward to explain that he flies into a berserk rage during combat, but do not worry! Anger is not an emotion! Neither is jealousy! :)
My guy has one (1) friend and together they once had grand plans of the backstabbing variety. Unfortunately, he's a terrible liar and this makes subterfuge difficult. The aforementioned jealousy caused the friendship to implode, but once again do not worry! Both the subterfuge and friendship make it in the end, even if he had to die thrice to get there.
In KH2, Saïx shares a battle theme with other members of Organization XIII. For his data battle in KH3, he has his own composition of this battle theme:
He is also encountered in 358/2 Days and KH3. These fights use Another Side -Battle Ver.- and Hearts as One, respectively, but those aren't really his.
Do you know how delighted I was when it first hit the 'net that his new theme featured electric guitars? He is coming for you and he is absolutely going scorched earth about it. I certainly would not have picked up on it in-game because there would be too much screaming happening (inside and outside the TV).
He's constantly rotating in the terrible microwave of my brain. He's so rigid and persnickety and it all falls apart anyway.
Saïx's association with bananas works in both Japanese and English: nana (seven) and the phrase "going bananas" respectively. He is also connected to bunnies (see Bunnymoon, the other claymore in the background), which comes from his link to the moon. His moon-fueled berserk state also leads to an association with the werewolf and wolves in general.
Generally when I draw Isa, it's from the (Re)Completion AU, titled because while this is Isa's first+ recompletion, it's technically Xemnas's first time as a complete person. There's really only two differences between this AU and his canon appearance: his scar has faded and the digicamo on his clothes is patterned after the moon's surface.
I also continue to color him with his lighter haircolor from his pre-KH3 models, no matter the universe. I just like it better.
