Ah, heart's season. The first version of this illustration - which is to say, a bare sketch of Norts for Valentine's Day - was what kickstarted this project. The illustration is after J.C. Leyendecker's Kuppenheimer mermaid ad. I was dissatisfied with the full piece (which you can see below) so I cut it in half to finish it.
